Metal table base craftsmanship and quality rank from low to high

Metal surface with rubber stuffing
The bottom takes a regular table base look, wrapped with steel shell, not solid metal inside but stuffing with rubber. This is a compromise to the extreme cost demands while keeping the metal look, it often with very thin material and painting to compress cost.

Hot rolled stamping

Hot rolling is a mill process that involves rolling the steel at a high temperature which is above the steel’s recrystallization temperature. The rolling process involves passing the heated steel through a series of rollers to achieve the desired shape and thickness. Irregular surface finish and less precise dimensional tolerances of hot rolled steel make it less suitable for applications requiring a smooth, refined surface or tight dimensional tolerances. Metal with this process is not worth for recycle use.

Cast molding

Cast molding is a manufacturing process that introduces liquid materials into a mold cavity where the material turns into a solid state, once in a solid state, the result should reflect the shape and surface of the engineered mold cavity. Due to the adaptability of this process, there is a wide range of cast molding techniques and material options that can provide a broad variety of shapes, sizes, and forms.
*Creating complex shapes and designs for mass production.
*Complex parts that would be otherwise difficult to machine can be casted
*Higher precision than ordinary forging and welding parts.
*Secondary operations such as machining, anodizing is available.
*Achieve hollow sections or internal cavities with ease.
Metal castings offer high compressive strength and can produce thin walls without losing structural integrity. the knowledge and experience to produce exceptional quality metal castings is strength of Lifepursue metalwork.

Billet manufacturing

Billet parts are often made from a single piece of metal or material using a subtractive process such as a CNC machine. Billet refers to any solid rod of metal that has been machined from a solid block of material such as steel. Billet manufacturing is a subtractive process, as the metal is milled away by a CNC machine to create the part.
Using a CNC machine to produce parts is the most accurate type of manufacturing.
The main strength of a billet lies in its ability to be machined into many different shapes and sizes without losing any structural integrity. Billets are heavier than metal casts depending on the material and thickness of the piece.
