High-Pressure Laminate (HPL) :

Phenolic compact laminate is a kind of extremely durable structure decorative and environmentally friendly board. It is made from melamine-impregnated resin decorative paper and layers of black or brown phenolic resin crafts: after stacking, compressing them with fluting steel board under high temperature and high pressure which leads to black core, surface riching in colors, styles, and grains.

The HPL table top is one of our hard-wearing table tops with a robust coating of high-density HPL laminate. durable and easy to clean. Laminate is stain-resistant and scratch-resistant.

Material of the HPL

Kraft paper: A type of paper to “Sandwiched” form up the thickness of the HPL board.

Phenolic resin: A chemical acting as a gluing agent to hold the kraft paper together.

Decor paper: The outermost layer which is applied to give the board its appearance.

Overlay: A protective layer applied to the board’s surface for scratch resistant.
